Xobni, the bin ox for a better Outlook inbox, has been updated. Xobni 1.4 can download contact pictures and company information from public LinkedIn profiles and populates its panel faster.
You can now also block Xobni from indexing certain folders, and a few keyboard shortcuts offer to make you more efficient (press Ctrl-Alt-N for an email to the person in the Xobni sidebar, for example).

Rods and cones like company — but not so much each other's.
Millions of cones for red, blue and green gather on the fovea centralis, a tiny spot on the retina. 17 times more millions of rods are packed all over the retina — carefully avoiding the fovea centralis. Rods are more sensitive to light and help you see at the periphery or in twilight, for example, but they see no colors.
