Succot - Free Email Stationery Download and E-Card
Monday October 13, 2008
There's education. And there are good deeds.
Learning can be represented by taste, and good actions by scent. Together, they make up The Four Species: the etrog (citron) smells and tastes intensively; the myrtle smells but you cannot taste it; the lulav (date palm branch) has taste but lacks fragrance; the willow, finally, neither tastes nor smells.
All persons — the learned, those with good deeds, the learned with good deeds and those who have neither — make up real community and come together to celebrate Sukkoth:
›› Share the happiness of Succot with this great stationery. (Outlook, Outlook Express)

How to Start Mozilla Thunderbird in Safe Mode to Uninstall Broken Extensions
Saturday October 11, 2008
Everything worked according to plan. More and more smoke came up, though, and things got tight. The heat was unbearable in some spots but not sufficient in others. What had gone wrong?
I think I overcrowded the pan. The steam, alas, gently stewed the filet mignon, which should have been browned.
I think I may also have overcrowded my Mozilla Thunderbird extension list — and there's the add-on that keeps crashing the entire application when I so much as launch it...
›› Mozilla Thunderbird does not start? Possibly, it's a faulty extension. Here's how you can launch Mozilla Thunderbird in a special "safe" mode that disables all extension so you can get rid of the problematic ones.

Zenbe - Now with Free IMAP Access
Thursday October 9, 2008
Zenbe, free email bliss beyond the mountain, is now accessible using IMAP in any email program and device. (Unfortunately, that access does not extend beyond the inbox.)
Also new in Zenbe's latest installment are two fresh things to do with contacts: you can stick pictures on them (upload, or pick from Flickr) and assign a star to afford faster access to favorite interlocutors.
Integration with Scribd's iPaper lets you view attachments of many a type (say, Office files, PDFs and PostScript) right in the browser.
›› Zenbe organizes your emails and attachments (from Zenbe and existing POP accounts) with labels and search — and integrates calendar, to-do list, twitter and Facebook updates, too.

How to Access Free Yahoo! Mail via POP or IMAP with IzyMail
Wednesday October 8, 2008
I dashed off to the kitchen for hands-on research; and I recommend you not to do the same. I broke soft drink glasses.
Of all the methods to separate wet glasses stuck stacked — dish-washing liquid seemed the most promising and shrinking the inner glass the most adventurous —, none worked well or reliably. More research is clearly needed.
Of all the methods to get emails out of a Yahoo! Mail account, IzyMail works reliably well; I recommend you research yourself:
›› Download incoming Yahoo! Mail email to any email program or access all your Yahoo! Mail folders transparently. Both is easy and elegant with IzyMail.

How to Create and Use an Email Template in Outlook
Sunday October 5, 2008
A reasonable bribe is all it takes for me to read your mail. I'm drowned in email after all, and time is money — money of a fancied currency that translates scarce email time into scarce tokens. You can trade these tokens with coworkers and attach them to emails to underscore their importance. Everybody's email efficiency improves, the story goes.
Tokens or not, you can invest in a meaningful Subject line to underscore your email's importance and have it read; tokens or not, you can invest in Outlook message templates to increase your email writing efficiency:
›› Are you composing similar messages again and again? Here's how to save one such message as a template now in Outlook and write that much faster — again and again — in the future.

How to Edit Your IncrediMail User Dictionary
Thursday October 2, 2008
First, pull out the leaves, one at a time, from the outside in; dip the thick and yellow fleshy ends in melted butter; pull the petals through your teeth scraping off the soft and buttered flesh.
Then, pluck the short and hay-like fuzzy choke to reach, you've guessed it, the artichoke's best part: its heart; cut it in pieces, dip and enjoy!
IncrediMail has almost as many — albeit not as delicious — layers around its user dictionary (where words you've taught IncrediMail's spell checker are stored). Let's peel:

Stork Congratulations - Free IncrediMail Letter Download and E-Card
Monday September 29, 2008
If you have worked, with your own hands so to speak, on your house a full year, would you return to it after a winter vacation in warmer regions?
The stork family does, and they continue to build on the nest year after year. The residences in prominent locations — a power line's tower or a high chimney maybe — can grow to some 2 m (6.5 feet) in diameter and 3 m (10 feet) deep.
The chimney may also whence the stork's association with children comes: it's easy to deliver through the chimney; Santa Claus demonstrates it every year.
›› Wonderful newborn, wonderful IncrediMail letter greetings. (IncrediMail)
