How to Enable System-Wide IncrediMail Keyboard Shortcuts

I have IncrediMail running in the background all the time, and I use the system tray icon extensively, but something is clearly missing in this display of IncrediMail's ubiquity: the keyboard.

Fortunately (but not surprisingly), IncrediMail also offers keyboard shortcuts that you can use even when IncrediMail is not the topmost window. If you press the right keyboard shortcut in Notepad, for example (or in Windows Mail), a new message composition window comes up in IncrediMail.

Enable System-Wide IncrediMail Keyboard Shortcuts

To enable system-wide keyboard shortcuts in IncrediMail:

• Select Tools | Options from the menu in IncrediMail.
• Go to the Advanced tab.
• Make sure Use IncrediMail Hotkeys (F6, F10, F12) is checked.
